A Good Day for Ducks

We've had a lot of rain this summer. Today was one of those rainy days. It was a good day for ducks. They love all this wet weather. I looked out my kitchen window to see a family of ducks coming down the road for a visit.

There are 14 of them. They have just barely reached adulthood. being born this spring.

They enjoyed picking in the wet grass.

After their bellies were full they rested at the end of my driveway and drank from the puddles.

After an enjoyable visit they walked out my driveway and up the road. I hope they visit again soon.
